Policy

This policy explains what the Drop Royale game and iPhone/iPad app ("the game") collect, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: we collect only what an account and online play need, we do not show ads, we do not track you across other apps or sites, and we do not sell your data.

What we collect

Account information

• Your email address, and your name and profile picture address if you sign in with Google.
• An account ID created by our sign-in provider. If you use email and password, your password is handled by that provider and we never see it.

Game profile

• Your player name, character outfit, Ignition car, and settings (sensitivity, graphics, music).
• Your stats: matches played, wins, kills, damage dealt, best placement and time played.

Online play

• Matches and parties connect players' devices to each other directly. Because of how this works, the other players in your match or party can technically see your IP address.
• To set up those connections we use a signaling service and, when needed, a relay server. They see connection details only for as long as you are connecting.

Feedback you send

• If you send feedback, it is emailed to us (it is not stored in the game's database) together with your account email address, your player name, the game version and whether you used the website or the app, so we can reply and look into problems. The email may stay in our mailbox until we delete it. Please do not put passwords or other personal details in feedback.

On your device

• Small preferences such as your last settings and whether the leaderboard is collapsed are stored on your device.

Game Center (iPhone and iPad)

• If you are signed in to Game Center, the game reports your total wins and kills and your achievement progress to Apple. Apple's own privacy policy covers what Apple does with it.

What other players can see

The leaderboard is public. It shows your player name, outfit, and stats to anyone who opens the game. Your email address is never shown. Player names are unique, and your name is also visible to the players in your matches and parties.

How we use it

• To let you sign in and keep your profile and stats across devices.
• To run matches, parties, the leaderboard and Game Center.
• To keep the game fair and working, and to answer support requests.

We do not use your data for advertising, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or rent your data.

Who handles it for us

• Google Firebase: sign-in, your profile and stats database, the leaderboard, and connection setup for parties.
• Cloudflare: hosts the game website and provides relay servers for online play. Like any web host, it keeps ordinary request logs.
• Apple: Game Center, and the App Store.
• Google Sign-In: only if you choose to sign in with Google.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and profile until you delete them. Deleting your account removes your profile, stats, reserved player name and leaderboard entry. Emails you sent us (such as feedback) are in our mailbox and we delete them if you ask.

Your choices

• Delete your account and data: in the game, open your account (top right) and choose Delete account. This permanently erases your account, profile, stats, leaderboard entry, and reserved name. You can also email us and we will do it for you, and delete any emails you sent us.
• See or correct your information: your name, outfit and stats are visible in the game. Email us if something is wrong.
• Game Center: you can sign out of Game Center in the iPhone Settings app at any time.

Children

The game is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has made an account, email us and we will delete it.

Security

Connections to our servers use HTTPS, and your profile is protected so that only you can change it. No online service is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above. If a change is significant we will tell you in the game.
